ArrMaz Products Inc.

Arkema Specialty Surfactants is proud to announce that Dave Moss, Ph.D., a valued member of our team, has been appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to serve on the Florida Industrial and Phosphate Research Institute (FIPR Institute). He will join fellow appointee Mark Koretchko, Senior Director of Process Engineering for North America at Mosaic Fertilizer.

Dr. Moss’s appointment reflects his extensive technical expertise, deep industry knowledge, and ongoing commitment to advancing sustainable practices within the phosphate and mineral processing sectors. His leadership and experience will be a strong asset to the Institute as it continues to support research that shapes the future of Florida’s phosphate industry.

About the FIPR Institute

The FIPR Institute is a legislatively established research organization within Florida Polytechnic University. Its mission centers on advancing research in phosphate mining, chemical processing, environmental engineering, land reclamation, and public health. In addition to phosphate-related research, the Institute also explores broader areas such as energy and the processing of other industrial minerals.

Serving as an essential resource for industry, academia, and the State of Florida, the Institute plays a critical role in fostering innovation and developing sustainable solutions for long-term resource management.

Appointment and Confirmation

Dr. Moss’s appointment—along with that of Mr. Koretchko—is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.

Arkema Specialty Surfactants congratulates Dr. Moss on this well-deserved recognition and looks forward to his contributions in supporting the Institute’s important work.
