CustAmine® froth flotation reagent collectors are designed to maximize mineral grade and recovery during mining and mineral processing. They are cationic collectors that are custom formulated for specific ore bodies and process conditions that are primarily used in the flotation of industrial minerals.

CustoFloc® mining flocculants include mine dewatering / filter aids, mine water clarifiers, clay settling aids and phosphate rock slurry thickeners which are used to clean flotation process water to reduce reagent consumption and improve mineral recovery, and to treat discharge water so that stringent environmental standards can be met. CustoFloc® filtration and clarification aids are also used during phosphoric acid production from phosphate rock to improve gypsum slurry filtration for higher production rates and recovery, as well as to quickly remove contaminants from the acid by accelerating settling time for better acid strength.

Asphalt mix producers and paving contractors rely on AD-here^® hot mix asphalt additives / adhesion promoters to build safer, longer-lasting roads because they are cost-effective, efficient and easy to work with. Low odor options are also available for easier compliance with environmental, occupational and regulatory requirements.

The NovaGrip^® line of next-generation hot mix asphalt additives / adhesion promoters uses chemistry that is less hazardous and safer for workers, eradicates smoke, odor and dust problems typical of traditional asphalt additives, and creates a powerful chemical bond between asphalt and aggregate that can withstand even prolonged exposure to water to make safer, longer-lasting roads.

The AD-here^® ULTRA line of warm mix asphalt additives combines asphalt compaction and proven adhesion promoter / asphalt anti stripping additive technologies in one, so that asphalt mix can be produced and compacted at lower temperatures while maintaining workability and protecting against moisture damage for longer pavement life.

ColdGrip^® cold mix asphalt additives and adhesion promoters deliver better cold patch longevity and performance by giving cold patches the ability to displace water along the sides and bottom of potholes, and enabling them to adhere properly. They allow for proper cutback coverage on the aggregate and they protect cold patches from moisture damage susceptibility.

deScent^® odor neutralizers provide effective bitumen / asphalt during paving and roofing, and work to suppress bitumen / asphalt odors at their core. 

Revive^® asphalt rejuvenators facilitate significantly increased recycled / reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) usage in asphalt mixes while maintaining mix flexibility.

ArrMuls^® slow-setting anionic emulsifiers for pavement sealers and industrial coatings are engineered to withstand shearing and mixing stresses for efficient compounding in every batch, providing longer product shelf life and quality over time, and even application through fine spray nozzles. ArrMuls^® anionic emulsifiers also address bond coat / tack coat tracking by transforming paving grade asphalt into non-tracking tack for stronger, longer-lasting pavements with faster traffic return.

ACRA clay stabilized emulsifiers provide faster drying and curing times for low-traffic road or parking lot pavement sealer, asphalt sealer and coal tar sealer applications, as well as maximum abrasion wear resistance and stronger bonding to the pavement substrate for longer-lasting results. They also improve surface aesthetics by providing a deep black color that gives pavements a new and uniform look.

Strata® strain tolerant reflective / reflection cracking relief pavement interlayer makes overlaying concrete pavements possible. It is an impermeable and flexible interlayer that prevents moisture from infiltrating the pavement, and significantly delays reflective / reflection cracking in the overlay. Strata is applied using conventional paving equipment followed by a typical HMA mix.

BinderTekk® polymer-modified asphalt binders create strain tolerant pavement layers for surface courses and bridge deck overlays that significantly improve fatigue resistance in thin overlay applications, retaining rut resistance while reducing potential cracking. BinderTekk® pavements can be used in new construction as well as in composite pavement sections over concrete.

BondTekk® bonded pavement technology creates a better bond between pavement lifts by using a spray paver that combines a distributor and paver in one, eliminating tracking away of tack coat by construction vehicles and facilitating the use of a higher quality polymerized tack coat applied at 4 to 6 times higher application rates. This increase in bonding liquid creates a better bond and provides a stress-absorbing membrane that delays cracking in the new HMA overlay on both concrete and HMA surfaces.

Custo pH® modifiers boost the efficiency of the froth flotation process during mining and mineral processing by creating ideal conditions for collector function and mineral separation. They provide better pH control during flotation by inhibiting the interaction of gangue minerals with the collector, while promoting collector deposition on the desired mineral surface for a faster float, cleaner concentrate and higher mineral recovery.

CustoFroth® flotation frothers / surfactants are custom-formulated blends developed to enhance the froth flotation process. They enable froth formation, stabilize bubble size and facilitate mineral particle adhesion to air bubbles. CustoFroth® flotation frothers optimize effectiveness in all types of flotation systems, especially in phosphate and other industrial mineral flotation operations.

CustoPrep® flotation depressants / promoters are used to increase the efficiency of the froth flotation process by selectively inhibiting or encouraging the interaction of a mineral with the collector. When used in conjunction with a collector, CustoPrep® flotation depressants / promoters enhance flotation kinetics to improve grade and recovery of industrial minerals.

Quell® defoamers / anti-foaming agents and dosing systems are custom-developed for the mining industry to beneficiate oxide ores such as phosphate and industrial minerals. They are designed to meet the requirements of specific mineral deposits, mineral pumping and handling equipment, and froth flotation process conditions. Quell® defoamers are also used in wet-process phosphoric acid production to maintain degassing performance of entrained gases and break surface foam, due to their ability to remain functional for longer periods of time within phosphoric acid reactors. In addition, the use of Quell® defoamers in downstream ammonium phosphate granulation and fertilizer production processes facilitates higher capacity utilization and optimal finished fertilizer output.

CustoSperse™ rheology modifiers / mineral slurry pumping additives are custom formulated for specific ore types to optimize the slurry pumping, transportation and wet grinding processes in mining.
