Coco amine ethoxylate, functioning as a non-ionic surfactant in alkaline or neutral aqueous solutions and exhibiting a cationic character in acidic aqueous solutions. It serves as a wetting agent, dispersing agent, and emulsifier in various industries including textiles, leather, paints, and varnishes. It is dispersible in water and soluble in organic solvents. Additionally, it is used as a synthesis intermediate, acting as a raw material to manufacture quaternary ammonium salts for use as antistatic agents through reactions with alkylating reagents.
